Michael Licastro received a Mechanical Engineering degree from the State University College at Buffalo and has over 28 years of practical experience in the application, design, and troubleshooting of Hydronic and Steam systems. His industry career began as an Outside Sales Engineer for a premier Manufacturers Representative company, working with every level of project stakeholders to ensure correct application and selection of products, proper piping system design, and evaluation of existing system problems. Currently, Mike is the Education and Training Manager for Commercial Business and HVAC at Bell & Gossett, a Xylem Company, which includes the oversight of the Little Red Schoolhouse training facility, e-Learning web-based training, and content updates to Technical Manuals. Mike is a Past-President of the Niagara Frontier Chapter of ASHRAE and has served as a Technical Instructor for multiple Steam and Pipe Fitters Union Apprentice Programs, located in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.
